"Fight Night is a Blast"

"The range floor is converted into different real life defensive situations"

You can find them at the range every Tuesday night around 5pm. Shooters are there filling Mags to the limit, sighting in their favor­ite handgun, and getting focused for the main event-"Fight Night." 

On Tuesday night the range is closed to the public and the floor is converted into different real-life scenarios in which the competitors race against the clock to complete the stage. 

Patterned after the shooting style of IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) Fight Night has grown into a popular activity among area shooters. 

The IDPA style event allows shooters to practice their defen­sive pistol shooting skills in a safe and controlled environment. With the addition of a shot clock the pressure builds in the mind of the shooter simulating real life fear and pressure. Each stage is a different scenario and can in­clude any number of "bad guys", hostage or "no shoot" targets, barricades, or any number of other props found in real life. 

The goal is to complete the stage as fast as you can accurately shoot. Remember" A fast miss is still just a fast miss." 

The competition is open to anyone who wants to try their skills. A holster, double Mag pouch and at least three Mags are needed to compete. The en­try fee is $10 and trophies are awarded to the top 3 shooters each month.
